Andrea trained in the performing arts, achieving scholarships to both Arts Education School and The London Studio Centre to train as a dancer and actress. Following the production of a short dance film called Tunnel Vision Andrea fell in love with the art of film and found her calling behind the camera.
Over the past eleven years Andrea has produced documentaries and feature films across Europe, Asia and the U.S. Early in her career, she worked on a number of short films that went on to gain critical acclaim on the international festival circuit, as well as various awards and nominations. These projects include The Lights which was selected for the BFI NET.WORK and Film London’s 'London Calling' scheme 2015.
Her documentary short, Red Sands - a thought-provoking insight into Spanish culture and bull fighting - became the first ever documentary to be nominated for Best British Short at the 11th British Independent Film Awards (BIFAs).
More recently, Andrea has turned her attention to the world of feature films, completing her first independent feature - a black comedy entitled The Killers. She has also gone on to produce feature documentary, The Rarest Film in the World? which traces the story of two friends from Essex who discover a lost Charlie Chaplin film on eBay.
Alongside producing online content and events for high-end brands, Andrea has developed a slate of feature films to be produced under the umbrella of Farrena Films.
In 2012 Andrea followed her passion of working with actors and launched the talent management arm of Farrena Films. Andrea personally manages all of FFM's clients. She works very closely with them offering around the clock support, a personal strategy worked out for each individual and she brings a great drive and energy to make sure the careers of her clients are where they want them to be. From Andrea's background in production she has developed close relationships with UK, U.S and Australian based casting directors, producers and directors which are invaluable to her work as a talent manager.
